Questions

Before you book.

What happens on the consultation call?

45 minutes by video. We talk through your goals, where your work comes from, how you quote and sell, and what still runs through you. Within three business days you get a short written plan with the two or three changes that would matter most. No packages, no pressure to buy anything.

Is this for a company our size?

Yes, whatever your revenue. I’ve scaled production companies from $750K to $3M+, and the plan for a $400K owner-operated shop looks very different from one for a $2M company going regional. I start by evaluating where your company stands, then set structured, achievable goals and the strategy to reach them, built around what you want from the business personally.

Why not just hire a marketing or SEO agency?

Most agencies don’t know the live event business. They don’t know the terms planners search, when buyers book or what’s trending in events, so campaigns target the wrong keywords and copy reads like it was written by an outsider. I’ve worked every role in a production company, from stagehand to head of sales and marketing, so the marketing speaks your clients’ language.

Do we have to replace the software we already use?

Usually not. Most production companies already pay for good tools that are set up poorly or don’t talk to each other. I’ve worked hands-on in Rentman, Current RMS, Goodshuffle Pro, IntelliEvent, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, Airtable, Jobber, QuickBooks and Xero, so the first step is connecting and fixing what you have. Custom tools come in only where nothing off the shelf fits.

Can you help us sell gear we no longer use?

Yes. Part of reviewing your inventory is finding what rarely leaves the shelf. I can sell it through my own network of production companies, so the capital goes toward equipment that earns more. Sale prices depend on the gear and the buyer; nothing is guaranteed until there’s an offer.

Do you run our events?

No — my work is growing your company, not managing your shows. On large projects, I can provide additional event support, quoted separately.

Do you work remotely or in person?

Consultations, strategy and implementation are delivered remotely, so you get senior-level support without travel costs or scheduling delays. When an engagement calls for it — an on-site operational assessment, a leadership workshop, or a walkthrough of your warehouse and show workflow — I can arrange to meet in person, scoped and quoted as part of the project.

How fast will we see results?

It depends on what we work on. Some changes, like faster quotes and follow-up, show up within weeks; marketing and SEO take longer. You’ll get an honest estimate in the plan — never a guarantee.
